In collaboration with six other seniors, we covered the human trafficking crisis in the state of Iowa. We had 14 weeks to create this film which included interviewing lawmakers, experts, and attempting to reach victims of human trafficking. I was one of two lead editors on this film and conducted all interviews which included coming up with questions, checking lighting, and framing up the interview. I also collaborated with our other writer in writing the voiceover script and selecting backing audio. Blackmagic cameras were used for b-roll/interviews and Davinci resolve/Adobe premiere pro were used in the editing process.
